Symbol puzzle and six rings
On the particle accelerator, one player reads symbols and the other presses them on a 4 by 4 grid, then sets three dials from 1 to 5 using the partner's display. For the three six-ring designs described in the walkthrough, the order is 4, then 1, then 5. That ring order is a single source. Check it twice.
What I checked
I separated the grid, which several notes describe as resetting, from the six-ring order, which I only found written out once. I would rather you re-read a dial than trust a number from a different session.
The 4 by 4 grid
Call the symbol by its shape, not by a letter you invented. Press in the order your partner reads. A wrong press resets the set and can change the symbols, so finish the call before the next press.
- Reader: name row and column, then the shape.
- Operator: press only that cell.
- After the grid, read the three dial values.
- Set each dial from 1 to 5 to match. Do not reuse yesterday's numbers.
Six rings, if you are in that corridor
The walkthrough describes three rings for this order. Ring 4 is eight hollow circles around a larger circle. Ring 1 is outward arrows, like a crosshair. Ring 5 is two overlapping circles. The order given is 4, then 1, then 5. If your rings do not match those drawings, do not force the numbers.
Questions
Is this G-46C?
No. G-46C is a 3 by 5 button panel in the Temporal Research Centre.
Will the same grid repeat?
Guides say a miss changes the symbols. Read them again.
How sure is 4-1-5?
One detailed walkthrough. Treat it as a lead, and confirm on the rings you can see.
