Release date and time — We Were Here Tomorrow is out. The PlayStation store timestamp is 2026-10-20T13:00:00Z, and the same calendar day is on Steam and in the launch press release. PC, PS5 and Xbox Series unlocked together.
Platforms, including the ones it skips — As of 23 October 2026 the official stores list Steam on Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. They do not list PS4, Xbox One, Switch, Mac, Linux, phones or VR. Older We Were Here games on Switch do not put this one there.
How long is We Were Here Tomorrow? — The official FAQ says the game is roughly 10 to 15 hours. I am not replacing that with a speedrun split. Community sector estimates add up inside that range, and they are estimates.
PC system requirements — Steam's minimum spec is Windows 11 64-bit, a Ryzen 5 3600 class CPU, 8 GB of RAM, a GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB class GPU, DirectX 12, broadband, 25 GB, and a microphone. The recommended GPU is an RTX 3060; recommended system RAM is 16 GB. Some guides say 50 GB. Steam says 25 GB.
Updates and patch notes — As of 23 October 2026 I do not have a post-launch patch number to quote. The studio's known-issues article was updated on 21 October 2026. The demo had its own 0.9.1 patch in April. That demo patch is not the launch build.
Where Are We? was this game's old name — Where Are We? is the former title of We Were Here Tomorrow. The official FAQ treats the rename as part of the tease, not as a second game. The 2024 series called We Were Tomorrow is a different work.
Credits: writer, cast and composer — The launch press release credits Claire North as writer, Sophie Okonedo, Connor Colquhoun, Boris Hiestand and Elena Saurel as cast, and Tom Wolkers as composer. Total Mayhem Games, also TMG Studios B.V. in Rotterdam, developed and published it.
Story explained — Two explorers wake in a Norcek Industries facility under Antarctic ice, in a retro-futuristic take on the 1980s. Director Kathleen Bowe needs help finishing a missing research team's work before a wider crisis. The store line is that only together you decide the fate of tomorrow.

Steam's full-audio column is English, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese and Latin American Spanish. French, German, Korean and the others on the 16-language list have interface and subtitles. Xbox's 22 languages are a different list. I do not collapse those into one number.
