Laser puzzle solution
Send the beam through Mirror/Piercing, then Serene/Stabilizing, then Fiery/Heating. Do the yellow room before the turquoise room, and finish in the receiver. Use Pingosius Crystalis, not the lookalike Pingosso Crystallo.
What I checked
I read the laser guide on GamerBlurb against the longer walkthrough on Whisper of the House. Both name the same three crystal effects and the same wrong-crystal error. I have not stood in the room, so I am not adding a mirror I did not see described.
What each player does
This sits in the optics lab after the magnetic stabilizer and before the six rings, according to the walkthrough order.
- Player A reads the crystal names on the bench and rejects Pingosso Crystallo.
- Player B seats Pingosius Crystalis first so the beam can pierce and mirror.
- Route the yellow room before the turquoise room.
- Add the serene crystal, then the fiery crystal.
- Check the partly hidden triangular reflector if the green beam stops early.
- Aim the last crystal into the receiver.
If the receiver still complains
Wrong Crystal Configuration means the crystals or their order are wrong. Reaching the receiver is not enough. Put the lookalike crystal back.

Questions
Which crystal is the fake?
Pingosso Crystallo looks close. The one both guides name is Pingosius Crystalis.
Does the beam color matter?
The green beam is the one that needs the triangular reflector. I would not chase a different color first.
Where is this in the story?
Cargo-elevator stretch, after MAGNETS! and before the six rings.
