Tomorrow versus Forever
Play Tomorrow if you want the new tools and the retro-futuristic ice base. Play Forever if you want the darker Castle Rock game and you already own a platform it supports. Both are two-player online co-op with crossplay. Neither requires the other.
What I checked
I compared official series pages and the FAQ lengths. The mood line is my reading of those pages, and I label it as a preference, not a score.

How I would choose
Choose Tomorrow if your friend is on PS5 or Xbox Series and you want the 2026 puzzle set. Choose Forever if you want the longer Castle Rock tone and you can already launch it. Switch owners cannot use this comparison to buy Tomorrow on Switch.
Questions
Which is harder?
Reviews say Tomorrow explains less. I do not have a shared difficulty number.
Do I play Forever first?
No. Both stand alone.
Is Forever on PS5?
The series page says PlayStation. I am not inventing a separate PS4-only or PS5-only SKU beyond that wording.
