Crossplay between Steam, PS5 and Xbox

Yes. Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S play together. The launch press release and the official FAQ both say the series supports crossplay between the platforms a given game actually ships on. Tomorrow ships on those three.

What I checked

I did not treat a series-wide FAQ line as proof for a platform Tomorrow lacks. Switch crossplay on older games is not Switch support for this one. I kept those sentences apart.

What crossplay includes

A friend on PS5 can join you on Steam. An Xbox Series player can join either. Each person buys the game on their own store. Xbox online play needs Game Pass Core or Ultimate, according to the Xbox page.

The PlayStation Store explicitly lists PS Plus as required for online play; the PS5 player needs it in addition to a game copy.

What people confuse with crossplay

Split-screen is not crossplay, and it is not offered. Local co-op is not offered. PS4, Xbox One, Switch and Mac are not in the matchmaking pool because the game is not sold there.
